Current Information:Born-Brighton Dranoutre Military Cemetery, Belgium
On 1st December, 1914, the 1st Dorset battalion of 15 Brigade, 5th Division, marched to Wulverghem where they moved into trenches north of the Wulverghem-Messines road where they remained until relieved on 3rd December and returned to billets in Dranoutre. Benjamin Lithgow died from wounds on 4th December and was probably wounded during this time in the trenches.
